Haute Perche, managed by Véronique Papin, was among the hundreds of wine producers who exhibited at the London International Wine Fair, which took place June 19 to 22 at the ExCel Centre in east London was the area .Véronique Papin had taken over the reins of the family business in early October 2012 and had identified export as a key objective in the development and commercial growth of the business. As preparation for the domain’s 27th participation in the Loire Wines Trade Fair of 2013, she sought the help of PME International to translate her company’s marketing materials (information sheets, presentation brochures, price-lists, etc.) into English with the view to achieving greater market reach.
Subsequently, as Véronique wanted "to improve my English", in March she enrolled in PME International’s evening classes in "Business English". There, not only was she able to brush up on and improve her English, but she was also able to network with fellow course participants and make vital business links.
Two months later, with the assistance of PME International, Veronique inaugurated Haute Perche’s stand at the London International Wine Fair which was being held from 19th to 22nd May 2013. PME International provided translation and interpretation support and Véronique was able to host international visitors to her stand.
After 3 exciting days punctuated by numerous meetings with people from far afield as China, India, Sweden and Russia, she returned home exhausted but satisfied.
