Maggie Chatard, Chinese, earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Investment from New York City University. With more than 12 years’ experience as an entrepreneur in Shanghai, she has successfully set up 5 companies and becoming one of the youngest entrepreneurs in that city in the process. In Shanghai, she has counted CCIFC Shanghai, the French embassy, JCDecaux and luxury brands such as Tiffany and Breitling among her clients. Married to a French executive, Maggie maintains her business interests in China while studying for an MBA on Audencia’s Executive MBA programme. |
With an extensive business experience spanning marketing, sourcing, import-export and business set up, Maggie focusses primarily on market research and market entry strategies. She has successfully helped ATELEC, an Angers-based hi-tech company, enter the Chinese market. Equally, she has also assisted Angers La Chantillon in finding alternative sources of raw materials and furniture products from a range of Chinese suppliers, thus saving the company some €200,000.
